(1) Angelica and Astragalus Papaya Pigeon Soup Recipe: Angelica 10g, Astragalus 20g, papaya 20g, two pigeons, ginger 10g, scallion 15g, salt 4g, Shao wine 25g. Preparation: Wash and slice angelica and astragalus; wash and slice papaya; slaughter pigeon, remove feathers, internal organs, and claws; slice ginger, cut scallion. Place pigeon meat, angelica, astragalus, ginger, scallion, and salt in a stew cup, add 300ml of water. Place the stew cup over high heat until boiling, then simmer over low heat for 50 minutes. Dietary method: Consume twice daily, eat 50g of pigeon meat and drink soup each time. Effect: Nourish kidney and tonify qi, expel wind and enrich blood. Used for patients with polyneuritis. (2) Papaya Steamed Quail Recipe: Papaya 20g, four quails, ginger 10g, scallion 15g, salt 4g, Shao wine 20g. Preparation: Wash and slice papaya; slaughter quail, remove feathers, internal organs, and claws; slice ginger, cut scallion. Place quail, papaya, ginger, scallion, salt, and cooking wine in a stew cup, pour in 250ml of water. Place the stew cup over high heat until boiling, then simmer over low heat for 50 minutes. Dietary method: Consume once daily, eat half a quail and drink soup with meals. Effect: Tonify the five zang organs, clear damp-heat. Used for patients with polyneuritis. (3) Dried Ginger Lamb Porridge Recipe: Dried ginger 10g, lamb 50g, rice 250g, salt 3g. Preparation: Slice dried ginger finely; wash lamb, cut into strips; wash rice thoroughly to remove mud and sand. Place dried ginger, lamb, rice, and salt in a stew pot, bring to boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 45 minutes. Dietary method: Consume once daily, eat during breakfast. (4) Milk, Raw Rehmannia, Oyster Drink Recipe: Raw rehmannia 15g, milk 250g, oyster 100g, sugar 20g. Preparation: Slice raw rehmannia; wash oyster meat and slice. Place raw rehmannia and oyster in a stew cup, add sugar, pour in 200ml of water. Bring to boil over high heat, then simmer for 25 minutes over low heat, then add milk. Dietary method: Consume one glass daily, drink milk and eat oyster meat. Effect: Calm the liver, subdue yang, soften hardness and disperse nodules. Used for patients with facial neuritis. (5) Ginkgo Steamed Squab Recipe: Ginkgo 10g, safflower 6g, peach kernel 6g, two squabs, ginger 10g, scallion 15g, salt 4g. Preparation: Soak ginkgo until soft, then slice; wash safflower and peach kernel; slaughter squab, remove feathers, internal organs, and claws; slice ginger, cut scallion. Place squab in a steaming cup, add ginkgo, safflower, peach kernel, ginger, scallion, and salt, pour in 200ml of water. Place the steaming cup in a large steamer, steam over high heat for 40 minutes. Dietary method: Consume once daily, eat half a squab each time. Effect: Calm the liver and extinguish wind, expel wind and stabilize shock. Used for patients with facial neuritis.
