Ang diarrhea sa bata ay isang syndrome dulot ng pathogenic E. coli at intestinal virus na nagdudulot ng digestive dysfunction. Ang pangunahing sintomas ay ang mabango at madalas na dumi, o parang tubig. Kasama ito sa "diarrhea" at "xie xie" sa Traditional Chinese Medicine. Preventive Measures Before Disease Mahalaga ang paghahanda at pag-aalaga bago ang sakit. (1) General Measures 1. Ipinapahiwatig ang breastfeeding. Kung artificial feeding, dapat dilute ang milk at i-sanitize ang utensils, mas mabuti kung i-boil o steam every day. Ang pagkain ay dapat fresco at malinis. 2. Regular at tamang dami ng pagkain. I-add gradually ang supplementary food, pero huwag masyadong maaga o masyadong marami, at huwag biglaang baguhin ang uri ng pagkain. 3. Tiyakin ang pagbabago ng panahon, i-adjust ang damit, iwasan ang pagkain ng bituka. Samantala, palakasin ang physical exercise, iwasan ang sipon, pneumonia, at ear infection. 4. Sa tag-init, lalo na ang pagkain at pag-aalaga ay dapat maging maayon. Kapag mainit, kumain ng maraming tubig, huwag kumain ng sobra o masyadong mataba. Iwasan ang pagpapalit ng milk sa tag-init. 5. Iwasan ang pangmatagalang paggamit ng broad-spectrum antibiotics. (2) Food Therapy for Prevention 1. Red Bean Millet Porridge: 30g of string beans, 10g of codonopsis (or ginseng), boil and strain, add 50g of millet, cook into porridge. Kainin nang madalas para maiwasan ang diarrhea. 2. Yam Red Bean Cake: 200g of yam (peeled and sliced thin), 50g of fresh red beans, 500g of chopped red date meat, 3g of tangerine peel strips, mix and steam into cake. Post-Disease Prevention Ang outcome ng sakit ay depende sa kalakasan ng spleen at stomach, kung maayon ang paggamot, at kung gaano kalamig ang impeksyon. Ang heat and dampness ay madalas magdulot ng pagbabago, maaaring magdulot ng internal fire na sumakop sa heart, o maaaring magdulot ng severe diarrhea na nawawala ang yin at yang. Kung sobra ang diarrhea, maaaring mababa ang spleen yang, at maaaring magdulot ng chronic spleen wind. (1) General Measures 1. Adjust diet: Ang mild diarrhea ay maaaring patuloy na i-feed ang breast milk, pero dapat i-shorten ang feeding time at i-increase ang interval. Kung milk-fed, dilute ang milk nang mas mababa kaysa normal, at alisin ang cream sa itaas. Para sa mas matanda, bigyan ng madaling lutuin na porridge. Para sa severe diarrhea, temporarily stop feeding for 6–8 hours para mag-rest ang digestive tract. 2. Supplement fluids: Para maiwasan ang dehydration at loss of salt, kumain ng maraming sugared salt water, weak tea, carrot water, o iba pang liquid. Maaaring gamitin ang oral rehydration salts under doctor’s guidance. 3. Care: Tiyakin ang pagkain ng bituka. Pagkatapos ng bawat dumi, linisin ang anal area gamit ang mainit na tubig, palitan ang diaper nang madalas, i-clear ang dumi at iwasan ang repeated infection. Para sa mga may long-term diarrhea, tandaan ang posture, iwasan ang pagbaba ng rectum. (2) Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment 1. Food Injury Type: Una, use digestive agents like Qizhen Dan or Yini Jin; pagkatapos, use tonics like Baohe Wan or Shan Zha Jianpi Wan. 2. Dampness-Heat Type: Use Ge Gen Qin Lian Tang with modifications. Kung may restlessness, risk of internal fire, add stonecrop, ginseng, hook vine, tortoise shell, antelope horn powder, or Zixue Dan. Kung may thirst, sunken eyes, short urine, risk of yin depletion, add Lian Mei Tang, sour and sweet to nourish yin. Kung may cold limbs, low energy, yang deficiency, immediately use Shen Fu Long Mu Tang, or add ginseng, aconite, schisandra. Kung may dull expression, sleeping with eyes open, twitching hands and feet, risk of chronic spleen wind, add ginseng, aconite, cinnamon, or solidify true essence decoction. 3. Deficient-Cold Type: Use Qianyi Liuyi Bai Zhu San or Yi Huang San, with additions like psoralea, epimedium, evodia, or Zhi Shu Wan. (3) Food Therapy for Prevention Ang paraan na ito ay angkop para sa mas matanda at mild diarrhea. 1. Radish Seed Porridge: Grind roasted radish seeds into powder, cook with rice. Angkop para sa food injury diarrhea. 2. Coix Seed Porridge: Boil raw coix seed until soft, then add white rice (1/3 of coix seed amount) and cook into porridge. Angkop para sa dampness-heat diarrhea. 3. Yam Porridge: Cook yam and glutinous rice together into porridge. Angkop para sa deficient-cold diarrhea. (4) Single and Proven Formulas 1. Mix powdered charred hawthorn and charred ginger, 1g per dose, mix with warm water, take three times daily. 2. 9g of pomegranate peel, boil and add red sugar, take three times daily. Angkop para sa chronic diarrhea. 3. Garlic with skin roasted over fire, peel off, mash into paste, mix with a little sugar and water, take 2–3 cloves daily. 4. 30g of evodia, 2g of cloves, 30 peppercorns, grind into powder. 1.5g per dose, mix with vinegar or oil into paste, apply on navel, cover with gauze, change daily. Angkop para sa food injury and deficient-cold diarrhea. (5) Acupuncture and Massage Therapy 1. First acupuncture at Zusanli, then at Qihai. If diarrhea continues, add point for stopping diarrhea (5 fen above Guanyuan). Also use moxibustion with mugwort stick on Shenque for 10 minutes. For vomiting, add acupuncture at Neiguan. 2. Pinching the spine therapy: The child lies face down, doctor uses thumb and index finger to hold the skin, starting from Changqiang (tailbone) to Dazhui (shoulder level), lift and pinch the skin continuously without letting go, do 3 times, once daily. Effective for children with weak spleen and stomach and chronic diarrhea.
