[Sanhi at Patogenesis] (1) Real Constipation 1. (2) Deficient Constipation 1. Qi and blood deficiency: After illness, the body has not recovered, old age, weak constitution, na nagdudulot ng both qi and blood deficiency. Qi deficiency leads to weak bowel movement; blood deficiency leads to insufficient fluids to moisten the intestines, thus causing constipation. 2. Lower Jiao cold deficiency: Lower jiao yang deficiency, cold accumulation, intestinal qi blockage leading to constipation. [Diagnosis at Treatment] (1) Real Constipation Key symptoms: hard stool, difficult to pass, usually once every three to five days or longer. Or fever, thirst, bad breath, rapid pulse, yellow dry tongue coating; or abdominal distension and pain, frequent belching, reduced appetite, thick greasy tongue coating, wiry pulse. (2) Deficient Constipation Key symptoms: constipation with weak defecation, or pale face and lips, dizziness, palpitations, fatigue, weak pulse, pale tongue with thin coating; or cold pain in abdomen, likes warmth, fears cold, pale tongue with white moist coating, deep slow pulse. For real constipation, use sedation to clear heat, moisten intestines, and regulate liver qi. For deficient constipation, use tonification to supplement qi and blood, moisten intestines, and promote defecation. For cold constipation, add moxibustion to warm lower jiao and relieve constipation. Preskripsyon: Dazhichu, Tianshu, Zhigou, Zhaohai, Left Shuidao Supplementary points: For heat excess, add Quchi, Hegu; for qi stagnation, add Zhongwan, Taichong; for qi and blood deficiency, add Pishu, Weishu, Zusanli; for lower jiao cold deficiency, moxibustion on Shengque, Qihai. Dazhichu is the back-shu point of large intestine, Tianshu is the mu point of large intestine. Using shu and mu together helps regulate intestinal qi, and when intestinal qi is regulated, transmission returns to normal and constipation stops. Zhigou is the fire point of Sanjiao meridian, which clears Sanjiao fire to relieve constipation. Zhaohai nourishes kidney fluid to moisten intestines. Quchi and Hegu clear intestinal heat to relieve constipation. Zhongwan regulates Sanjiao, Taichong regulates liver qi to relieve intestinal obstruction. Tonifying Pishu, Weishu, and Zusanli strengthens middle qi, and when spleen and stomach are strong, they generate qi and blood—this is the root treatment for deficient constipation. Moxibustion on Shengque and Qihai warms lower jiao and relieves qi stagnation to relieve constipation. Left Shuidao is an empirical point for treating constipation. [Iba pang Therapy] 1. Auriculotherapy Points: Lower Rectum, Large Intestine, Brain Method: Twisting with moderate to strong stimulation, leave needle for 20–30 minutes.
