Prescription: Zusanli (ST36), Appendix Point, Quchi (LI11), Tianshu (ST25) Explanation: This formula primarily aims to regulate the qi of hand and foot Yangming meridians, adjust the fu organs, achieve effects of dispersing stasis, reducing swelling, clearing heat, and relieving pain. According to the "Hepatic and Gallbladder Meridians govern internal organs" principle, use Zu San Li (ST36), the He point of Stomach Meridian, to guide the flow of stomach qi and clear heat from the intestines. Appendix Point is effective for treating appendicitis and lies on the Stomach Meridian, capable of clearing intestinal heat. Quchi (LI11), the He point of Large Intestine Meridian, is used to drain heat from the intestine. Tian Shu (ST25), the Mu point of Large Intestine, is used to regulate intestinal qi. 2. Water Acupuncture Select Points: Appendix Point, Tender Point on Abdomen Method: Inject 2–5 ml of 10% glucose solution, depth 0.5–0.8 cun, once daily. 3. Auricular Acupuncture Select Points: Appendix, Lower Foot End, Large Intestine, Shenmen Method: Intermittent twirling, leave needle for 2–3 hours.
