[Drug composition] Rhubarb 1g, Saposhnikovia 0.5kg
[Function and indications] Epilepsy.
[Dosage and administration] Adults: 10ml each time, three times daily; 0–14 years: 5ml each time, three times daily; under 10 years: 5ml each time, once or twice daily.
[Preparation method] Grind herbs into coarse powder, add 1.5L of white wine, soak for fourteen days, filter and store.
[Precautions] Mild abdominal pain or diarrhea may occur after taking, generally no need to stop.

Zi Shi Wine
[Drug composition] Purple quartz one jin, pearl powder four liang, ephedra, Poria, Atractylodes each three liang, Saposhnikovia, Yuan Zhi, cinnamon heart each four liang, licorice three liang
[Function and indications] Treat chronic wind-cold deficiency, heart Qi deficiency, or occasional fright.
[Dosage and administration] Four he each time, three times daily, always maintain wine effect.
[Preparation method] Chop nine herbs finely, soak in three dou of wine, soak in spring for three days.

Dan Sha She Xiang Wine—originally named "Dan Sha Wine"
[Drug composition] Cinnabar (solid) half liang, musk two qian
[Function and indications] Treat unstable mind, tendency to climb high places, inappropriate speech, laughing uncontrollably, shouting loudly, erratic behavior, constipation, red urine, undressing, inability to think clearly, blindness, delirium, talking nonsense about gods and demons.
[Dosage and administration] Take according to patient's usual drinking capacity, until drunk. Once asleep, immediately cover with thick blanket, sweat out and recover. If patient cannot drink much, use only one fen of cinnabar, half qian of musk, one sheng of wine, prepare as above, drink occasionally.
[Preparation method] Grind and mix finely, soak in two sheng of ash-free wine in a porcelain bottle, slowly heat over fire, stir occasionally with silver chopsticks until warm.
[Precautions] Do not take excessively or for long periods.
