复方大黄酒
[Drug composition] Rhubarb 1g, Saposhnikovia 0.5kg
[Function and indication] Epilepsy.
[Usage and dosage] Adults: 10ml each time, three times daily; 0–14 years: 5ml each time, three times daily; under 10 years: 5ml each time, once or twice daily.
[Preparation method] Grind herbs into coarse powder, add 1.5L white wine, soak for fourteen days, filter and store.
[Notes] Mild abdominal pain or diarrhea may occur after taking, generally no need to stop.

竹茹白鱼酒
[Drug composition] Bamboo fleece one handful, white fish from clothes seven heads
[Function and indication] Epilepsy.
[Usage and dosage] Consume entire dose at once.
[Preparation method] Use one sheng of wine, decoct to two he.

紫石酒
[Drug composition] Purple quartz one jin, lacteal calcite four taels, ephedra, poria, atractylodes each three taels, saposhnikovia, polygala, cinnamon heart each four taels, licorice three taels
[Function and indication] Treat chronic wind-cold deficiency, heart qi insufficiency, or occasional fright.
[Usage and dosage] Each time four he, three times daily, maintain continuous wine aroma.
[Preparation method] Cut nine herbs finely, soak in three dou of wine, soak in spring for three days.

丹砂麝香酒—Original name “Dan Sha Jiu”
[Drug composition] Cinnabar (solid block) half liang, musk two qian
[Function and indication] Treat unstable mind, prone to climbing high places, speaking without regard for intimacy, frequent laughter, loud shouting, erratic behavior, constipation, red urine, undressing, unable to stay calm, hallucinations, talking nonsense about gods and spirits.
[Usage and dosage] Take according to patient’s usual drinking capacity, until drunk. When patient falls asleep, quickly cover with thick clothing and blankets, sweating indicates cure. If patient cannot drink much, use cinnabar one fen, musk half qian, one sheng of wine, prepare as above, drink occasionally.
[Preparation method] Grind herbs finely and mix evenly, use two sheng of non-ash wine in a porcelain bottle, slowly heat over fire, stir with silver chopsticks to keep warm.
[Notes] Do not take excessively or for long periods.
