[Formula] Ephedra 75 kg, cinnamon twig 22.5 kg, apricot kernel 30 kg, qianghuo 15 kg; windbreak 15 kg, ligusticum 15 kg, danggui 15 kg, white芷 15 kg, mint 7.5 kg, kudzu root 22.5 kg, scutellaria 30 kg, platycodon 15 kg, sweet flag 7.5 kg, schizonepeta spike 22.5 kg, ethanol in appropriate amount.
[Paraan] Una, ihiwa ang schizonepeta spike at ihiwalay ang oil, pagkatapos ay kunin ang solution (e.g., ephedra can be replaced with ephedra paste, 1 kg of paste equivalent to 3.5 kg of ephedra, so total ephedra paste is 10.75 kg, apricot kernel can be replaced with apricot cake), then dissolve the ephedra paste in a small amount of water into a thin paste, mix both pastes with other main ingredients, use 7 times the volume of 50% ethanol for reflux extraction twice, first time 4 times volume for 3 hours, second time 3 times volume for 2 hours, keep the first reflux solution as 1/10 of total ethanol volume, the rest including the second reflux ethanol solution, reflux and concentrate under reduced pressure to about 40 kg, add equal amount of 95% acetic acid and combine with previously reserved solution, adjust total volume to match the amount of herbs, freeze precipitation for 2–3 days, filter through two layers of cloth, freeze again for 2–3 days, filter through four layers of blue cloth, mix essential oil before bottling, test concentration, then fill into bottles. Each bottle contains 15 ml.
