Ang menstrual disorder sa teenage years ay karaniwang nangyayari sa mga taong wala pang 25 taong gulang na unmarried, at madalas ipinakita bilang early, late, o irregular menstruation. Ang pagsusuri at paggamot ay sumusunod:
Ren Yin Deficiency
Madalas ay early menstruation, o irregular, kasama ang low back pain, dizziness, dry mouth, thirst for cold drinks, constipation; thin white or little coating, red tongue, fine and rapid or wiry and rapid pulse. Treatment: Strengthen yin to suppress yang, nourish kidney and regulate menstruation. Formula: Er Di Tang, Er Zhi Wan combined with Gu Jing Wan with modifications: Scrophularia, raw rehmannia, white peony, root bark of dogwood, ligustrum, lycium, moutan, phellodendron, tortoise shell, prune seed, cyperus, cornus.
Ren Yang Deficiency
Madalas ay late menstruation, o irregular, kasama ang weak lower back and knees, dizziness, heavy body, loose stools or diarrhea in the morning, abundant white leucorrhea, poor appetite, cold intolerance, swelling; thin white coating, pale red tongue or with tooth marks, deep and fine pulse. Treatment: Warm and tonify kidney yang, boost fire source. Formula: You Gui Wan, Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang with modifications: Yam, cooked rehmannia, prepared aconite, epimedium, psoralea, dodder seed, eucommia, ginseng, astragalus, white atractylodes, angelica, poria, goji berry, eucommia.
Ren Yin-Yang Deficiency
Madalas ay early menstruation, kasama ang weak lower back and knees, fatigue, palpitations, shortness of breath, loose stools or uncomfortable bowel movements, or swelling; thin white coating, pale and tender tongue or with tooth marks, deep and fine weak pulse. Treatment: Tonify yin and yang, balance Chong-Ren meridians. Formula: Bao Yin Jian, Gu Yin Jian, Shen Qi Wan with modifications: Raw rehmannia, white peony, phellodendron, rhubarb, ginseng, cinnamon, yam, cornus, dodder seed, cooked rehmannia, ligustrum, eucommia, psoralea.
Liver-Kidney Yin Deficiency
Madalas ay early menstruation, or irregular, kasama ang chest and rib distension, poor appetite, belching, acid reflux, irritability, hot flashes, weak lower back and knees, dizziness, tinnitus, constipation, insomnia, forgetfulness; thin yellow or white coating, red tongue, fine pulse. Treatment: Nourish kidney and liver, nourish blood and harmonize blood. Formula: Yi Guan Jian, He Xiao Yao San with modifications: Raw rehmannia, goji berry, ophiopogon, northern sand ginger, angelica, ligustrum, bupleurum, white peony, cooked rehmannia, asparagus, dodder seed, polygonatum, prepared fo-ti.
Spleen-Kidney Yang Deficiency
Madalas ay late menstruation, or irregular, kasama ang dizziness, fatigue, weak lower back and knees, cold limbs, or swelling, scanty urine, loose stools; thin white coating, pale and swollen tongue or with tooth marks, deep and fine weak or slippery pulse. Treatment: Warm and tonify spleen and kidney, activate yang and harmonize blood. Formula: You Gui Wan, Shi Quan Da Bu Tang with modifications: Cooked rehmannia, yam, dodder seed, eucommia, cornus, cinnamon, prepared aconite, deer antler glue, ligusticum, ginseng, astragalus, poria, white atractylodes, licorice.
Phlegm-Blood Stasis Blockage
Madalas ay late menstruation, or irregular, kasama ang chest oppression, headache, vomiting, dizziness, irritability, nausea, constipation, dull complexion, dark purple menstrual blood with clots, abdominal distension or tenderness; thin greasy coating, dark purple tongue or with ecchymosis, deep slippery or deep wiry and choppy pulse. Treatment: Resolve blood stasis, transform phlegm, regulate qi and disperse nodules. Formula: Tao Hong Si Wu Tang, Er Chen Tang with modifications: Peach kernel, safflower, ligusticum, angelica, cyperus, fructus aurantii, pinellia, white mustard seed, tangerine peel, poria, radish seed, achyranthes, coix seed.
