Toona Bark Pill 2
【Source】Vol. 2 of "Danxi's Heart Method."
【Composition】Turtle shell 60 grams (honey-roasted),升麻 (Cimicifuga) and costus root (Foeniculum vulgare) each 15 grams; Peony root 45 grams; Cypress leaf 30 grams; White bark of Toona root 22.5 grams
【Usage】Grind into powder, mix with porridge to form pills. Take with decoction made from Four Substances Decoction plus Atractylodes, Coptis, licorice, and tangerine peel.
【Function】Nourish yin and blood, clear damp-heat.
【Indications】Hemorrhoidal bleeding, long-term blood deficiency. Also treats leprosy and eczema appearing on the face.
