Anti-stone effect: "Ji Fu Zheng Fang Yao Xin Jie" 1981:290. This formula shows anti-stone effect in experimental calcium oxalate stones in rats. Results show over 95% of control group developed stones, while herbal group had less than 50% stone formation rate—significant difference between groups. 2. Reduction of renal hydronephrosis: "Ji Fu Zheng Fang Yao Xin Jie" 1981:290. The formula also has certain effect in reducing renal hydronephrosis in rats.
