Qiang Huo Bu Sui Wan
【Source】"Bei Ji Qian Jin Yao Fang" Volume Twelve.
【Composition】Qiang Huo, Chuan Xiong, Dang Gui each 90 grams, Gui Xin 60 grams, Ren Shen 120 grams, Zao Rou (ground into paste), Yang Sui, Su each 600 grams, Niu Sui 1.2 kilograms, Da Ma Ren 1.2 kilograms (roasted, ground into paste)
【Usage】Mix the first five dry herbs into powder, add jujube paste and sesame paste, pound thoroughly, then add the two marrow pastes and su, place in a copper mortar, steam over boiling water until well blended, form into pills the size of tangerine seeds. Take 30 pills with wine twice daily, gradually increase to 40 pills.
【Function】Tonifies marrow, warms the gallbladder.
【Indications】Marrow deficiency and gallbladder coldness, headache and restlessness. |
