【Composition】500g each of red and white fo-ti root (soaked in rice washing water for 3–4 days, peel removed, sliced, then steamed with 2 sheng of black beans until beans are soft; remove beans, dry, repeat process with fresh beans nine times, then dry); 500g each of red and white poria (peel removed, ground into powder, mixed with human milk, sun-dried); 250g achyranthes root (soaked in wine for one day, steamed together with fo-ti root during seventh to ninth steaming cycles, then dried); 240g Chinese angelica (soaked in wine, dried); 240g goji berries (soaked in wine, dried); 240g dodder seed (soaked in wine until sprouted, crushed, dried); 120g psoralea fruit (stir-fried with black sesame seeds)
【Usage】Grind all herbs in a stone mortar into fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take 9g per dose, washed down with salt water or warm wine.
【Function】Tonify kidney, consolidate essence, darken hair, strengthen bones, prolong fertility and lifespan.
【Indications】Liver and kidney deficiency causing premature graying of hair, loose teeth, nocturnal emission, spermatorrhea, menorrhagia, leukorrhea, infertility due to kidney deficiency, weakness in waist and legs.
