Kai Chi San 【Source】"Tai Ping Sheng Hui Fang" Vol. 34. 【Composition】Xi Xin Bai Ji Li (slightly stir-fried, thorns removed) Lu Feng Fang (slightly roasted) Chuan Sheng Ma Bai Fan (half calcined until juice evaporates, half used raw, finely ground) Huang Bai (chopped) each 15g Huai Zhi Liu Zhi (thick ones, each stem 6 cm long) each 3–7 stems (burn without over-charring) 【Usage】Grind all herbs into fine powder, mix evenly, and store in a porcelain box. When using, first rinse mouth with warm salt water 3–5 times, then apply medicine to gums. Stop when slight pain is felt; spit out saliva immediately. 【Indication】Tooth decay due to wind-heat, bleeding and pain, loose teeth. |
