Use 600 ml water, add 3 slices of ginger, decoct to 300 ml, take warm on empty stomach. 【Function】Clear heat, promote diuresis, eliminate accumulation, and relieve stagnation. 【Indications】Damp-heat dysentery. 【Additions】For damp-heat accumulation with initial severe symptoms, increase Dahuang and Puxiao each by 6 grams; for white dysentery, add Wu Zhu Yu (roasted) 1.5 grams; for abdominal pain, double Shaoyao, add Yanhuxiao and Ze Lan Ye; for mixed red and white dysentery, add Taoren, Husi, Guiwei, and Chenpi each 1.5 grams; for post-dysentery qi deficiency with persistent tenesmus, add Shengma and Chuanxiong; for chronic diarrhea with loose stools, add Suxie, Hezi, and Ejiao. |
