【Composition】Talc 180 grams, licorice 30 grams, amber 15 grams, indigo 2.4 grams
【Usage】Grind all ingredients into extremely fine powder. Take 6 grams per dose, mix with lampwick decoction.
【Function】Promote urination, open orifices, clear heat, detoxify.
【Indications】Dog bite injury, toxic substances blocking urethra causing dysuria resembling strangury.
【Discussion】Talc clears heat and promotes urination—primary herb. Amber disperses stasis and relieves urinary obstruction; indigo clears heat and detoxifies—secondary herbs. Licorice harmonizes the formula and combines with talc to promote urination without depleting body fluids—adjunct and messenger.
