【Composition】Tian Hua Fen 90 grams, Jiang Huang 30 grams, Bai Zhi 30 grams, Chi Shao Yao 60 grams
【Usage】Grind the four herbs into fine powder. Mix with tea water or wine and apply warm compress to affected area.
【Function】Clears heat and detoxifies, activates blood and reduces swelling.
【Indications】Yang-type abscesses with redness, heat, swelling, and pain.
【Discussion】Tian Hua Fen clears heat and detoxifies, promotes blood circulation and removes stasis; Chi Shao Yao cools blood and moves blood, detoxifies and reduces swelling; Jiang Huang moves qi and breaks blood stasis, aiding in unblocking; Bai Zhi, aromatic and pungent, disperses nodules and aids in dissolving; tea water helps release exterior toxins and relax muscles; wine enhances drug efficacy and harmonizes blood flow. Combined, these herbs clear heat and detoxify while activating blood and reducing swelling, thus suitable for Yang-type sores and ulcers. |
