Ang Akupuntura para sa Dysmenorrhea

One, Diagnosis
1. Real Condition
Main symptoms: Abdominal pain in the lower abdomen, usually starting before menstruation, with small amount of dark purple menstrual blood mixed with clots, distension and pain in the lower abdomen, pain relieved after clot expulsion, breast and chest fullness, dark purple tongue or with ecchymosis, deep string pulse; generalized abdominal pain radiating to the back, small amount of deep red menstrual blood with clots, white greasy coating, deep string pulse.
2. Deficiency Condition
Main symptoms: Mild abdominal pain at the end of menstruation, slightly relieved by warmth or pressure, small amount of pale menstrual blood, fine weak pulse, accompanied by cold aversion, cold limbs, pale complexion, palpitations, dizziness.
Two, Treatment
1. Real Condition
Prescription: Zhongji (CV3), Ciliao (BL32), Hegu (LI4), Xuehai (SP10), Diji (SP8), Taichong (LR3). Use acupuncture and moxibustion together.
Add Siman (GB29), Shuidao (ST28) for lower abdominal distension and pain; add Guilai (ST29), Daju (ST28) for lower abdominal cold pain.
2. Deficiency Condition
Prescription: Guanyuan (CV4), Pishu (BL20), Shenshu (BL23), Zusanli (ST36), Sanyinjiao (SP6). Apply tonifying method and moxibustion to regulate qi and blood, warm and nourish Chong and Ren meridians.
