I. Symptom differentiation 1. Damp-heat descending Primary manifestation: Cloudy urine or with clots, burning sensation in urethra, blood in urine, thirst, pain in perineal area, red tongue with greasy yellow coating, slippery rapid pulse. 2. Spleen deficiency with qi sinking Primary manifestation: Cloudy urine, recurrent episodes, long duration, heaviness in lower abdomen, pale complexion, fatigue, pale tongue with white coating, deep fine pulse. 3. Deficiency of lower yuan Primary manifestation: Frequent dribbling urination, accompanied by white turbidity, prolonged duration, cold extremities, pale tongue with white coating, deep pulse. 4. Qi stagnation and blood stasis Primary manifestation: Aching pain in perineal area, minimal discharge, hardened prostate, dark tongue with ecchymotic spots, wiry涩pulse. II. Treatment 1. Damp-heat descending Method: Clear damp-heat. Prescription: Zhongji (CV3), Yinlingquan (SP9), Panguangshu (BL23), Sanyinjiao (SP6). Operation: Use draining method. 2. Spleen deficiency with qi sinking Method: Strengthen spleen, tonify qi. Prescription: Sanyinjiao (SP6), Qihai (CV6), Zusanli (ST36), Piyu (SP19), Shenshu (BL23). Operation: Use tonifying method with moxibustion. 3. Deficiency of lower yuan Method: Warm and tonify lower yuan. Prescription: Guanyuan (CV4), Sanyinjiao (SP6), Mingmen (GV4), Shenshu (BL23). Operation: Use moxibustion. 4. Qi stagnation and blood stasis Method: Regulate qi, activate blood, resolve stasis. Prescription: Guanyuan (CV4), Taichong (LR3), Ciliao (BL32), Laibai (CV30), Xuehai (SP10). Operation: Use draining method.
