[Function and indications] Removes wind-cold, treats abdominal masses, accumulations, wind labor, deficiency-cold.
[Dosage and administration] Warmly drink one bowl on an empty stomach, twice daily.
[Preparation method] Place herbs in a raw silk bag, soak in three dou of good wine, soak seven days in spring/summer, fourteen days in autumn/winter.

Ba Qia Wine
[Drug composition] Ba Qia one hu
[Dosage and administration] Drink appropriate amount; within three to five doses, all return to normal.
[Preparation method] Clean and chop Ba Qia, boil with three hu of water until reduced to nine dou, use to soak yeast, then boil residue with two hu of water until one hu, use to soak rice, ferment until mature, extract juice.
[Precautions] Avoid for those with yin deficiency and heat constitution.

[Preparation method] Cut herbs finely, place in a silk bag, soak in two dou five sheng of clear wine for three nights.
[Precautions] Avoid wormwood.

[Appendix] Peach Kernel Pill Formula: Peach kernel (remove skin and tip, roasted) eight fen, tortoise shell (roasted) six fen, Citrus aurantium (roasted), Atractylodes each six fen, Platycodon, Wu Zhu Yu, Areca nut, Fugui, dried ginger each five fen, Aconite (roasted) three fen, peony four fen half, purple tansy, fine cinnamon, ginseng, tangerine peel (roasted with licorice) each four fen, soap pod (remove skin and seeds) three fen, crush and sieve, mix with honey into pills the size of melon seeds, take nine to ten pills each time, increase to twenty pills. Avoid seaweed, cabbage, pork, cold water, raw vegetables, peaches, plums, quail meat.
Shuo Ho Gen Wine
[Drug composition] Shuo Ho root one bundle
[Function and indications] Masses, headache, generalized yellow swelling.
[Dosage and administration] Empty stomach, five he to one sheng each time, three times daily.
[Preparation method] Wash, drain water, finely chop, soak in alcohol.

Yellow Drug Wine—also known as "Yellow Drug Wine"
[Drug composition] Yellow drug (broken pieces) 300g, white wine as needed
[Function and indications] Cools blood, detoxifies, reduces swelling, resolves nodules; used for symptomatic treatment of esophageal cancer, goiter, thyroid enlargement.
[Dosage and administration] 100ml daily, divided into several doses, finish each day. One course lasts four to seven days.
[Preparation method] Crush or pulverize herbs, place in covered container, add required solvent, seal, soak for several days, pour off supernatant, re-soak residue with additional solvent until herbs are nearly tasteless, collect liquid, combine all extracts, let settle one or two days, filter, add sufficient white wine to reach 1000ml.
[Precautions] Stop after consuming 3L, wait ten days, check liver function. If jaundice appears, stop immediately and seek treatment.

Beef Hive Whole Scorpion Wine
[Drug composition] Bee hive 20g, whole scorpion 20g, mountain monkshood 20g, white silkworm 25g, toad skin 15g

Notes: Ox bile is a precious herb, the gallstone of cattle. Some are from bile duct stones (now also synthetic versions made from bovine or porcine bile, called artificial ox bile). Taste bitter, nature cool, aroma fragrant, it clears liver heat, extinguishes wind, opens orifices, resolves phlegm, and has excellent blood-cooling and detoxifying functions. Besides treating febrile coma, it is commonly used for abscesses and swellings.
Ice Fragrance Pain Relief Wine
[Drug composition] Ice fragrance (good ice fragment, top grade better) one liang, white wine one jin
[Function and indications] Relieves pain, used for severe cancer pain.
[Dosage and administration] Apply solution to painful areas of cancerous radiation, initially apply ten times or more daily, reduce frequency as pain decreases, apply several times daily.
[Preparation method] Mix and dissolve for immediate use.
[Precautions] Do not use on ulcerated wounds.
