Filter through silk cloth, reboil the decoction, then add 108 g of purified mirabilite, simmer gently until the liquid is nearly evaporated and begins to solidify. Pour into a bowl, then add 9 g each of cinnabar and borneol, and 100 sheets of gold leaf—each pre-ground finely and mixed evenly. Place the bowl in a basin of cold water and let cool until it solidifies like snow. Adults take 3 g per dose, children 0.6 g, 10-year-olds 1.5 g, slowly swallow. Alternatively, dissolve in decoction made from light bamboo leaves or wheat straw.
