Purple Velvet Ointment
【Source】"Complete Book of Sores and Ulcers" Volume 10.
【Composition】Purple gromwell 6 grams, white芷 6 grams, Angelica sinensis 15 grams, licorice 3 grams, hemp oil 60 grams
【Usage】Boil the above herbs until white芷 turns yellow. Filter, then add 6 grams each of beeswax and light powder. Apply to affected area.
【Function】Nourishes liver and blood, dispels wind and dampness.
【Indications】Eyebrow eczema caused by liver blood deficiency and external wind-damp invasion, initial itching, scratching causes oozing fluid, spreads to forehead and eyelids; also childhood congenital toxin eczema, sores on eyebrows, or spreading to entire body with itching, or with pus discharge, chronic condition lasting years without healing. |
