Yuan Hu Zhi Tong Pian
【Source】Volume 1 of "Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China".
【Composition】Yan Hu Suo (vinegar processed) 445 grams Bai Zhi 223 grams
【Usage】Take the two ingredients above: crush 166 grams of Bai Zhi into fine powder, mix the remaining Bai Zhi and Yan Hu Suo into coarse powder. Use percolation method under the category of tinctures and extracts with 60% ethanol, collect percolate, concentrate into thick paste, add the above fine powder for granulation, compress into 1000 tablets, coat with sugar, then obtain. Oral use: 4–6 tablets each time, three times daily, or follow physician’s advice.
【Functions】Regulate qi, activate blood, relieve pain.
【Indications】For stomachache, rib pain, headache, and menstrual pain due to qi stagnation and blood stasis. |
