【Source】Volume VIII of "Yuyao Yuan Fang."
【Composition】Stone swallow 1 pair (vinegar-quenched), sea horse, sea clam, gypsum, amber, red poria, wood tongs, tongcao, gardenia seed (roasted), alisma, poria (black skin removed), plantain seed (slightly roasted), fennel (slightly roasted), dianthus spike, polygonum, bitter apricot seed (paper-lined roasting), forget-me-not root, saffron, frankincense, white isatis seed, ghost thorn needle, each 30 grams
【Usage】The twenty ingredients, except stone swallow and sea horse, each 30 grams, are coarsely ground together. Take 15 grams per dose, add 220 ml water and 30 stems of lamp heart, decoct until 180 ml clear liquid remains. Add 0.5 grams musk, mix well, warm and take on empty stomach. A small amount of musk may also be taken alone.
【Function】Promote urination, remove dampness.
【Indication】Urinary retention, discomfort or obstruction, edema, foot qi, all types of damp conditions. |
