【Source】"Three Causes and One Disease: Formulas and Treatments," Volume Ten.
【Composition】Licorice (raw) 30 grams, scutellaria 30 grams, mulberry white bark 30 grams, windproof 30 grams (remove branches), apricot kernel 30 grams (remove skin and tip), each soaked in rice wash overnight, squeezed dry, slightly stir-fried; ophiopogon 7.5 grams (remove heart), polygala 15 grams
【Usage】Grind into powder. Each dose: 6 grams, add 1.50 ml water, include one piece of yellow wax the size of a finger, decoct to 100 ml. Take warm after meals.
【Function】Clear lungs and stop cough.
【Indications】Chronic cough due to overwork, shortness of breath, chest tightness, blood in phlegm.
