Qing Fei Zi Yin San 【Source】Gu Jin Yi Jian, Volume VII. 【Composition】Chuan Xiong (wine-washed) 3 grams, Bai Shao (stir-fried) 4.5 grams, Sheng Di Huang 6 grams, Bai Zhu (stir-fried) 3 grams, Chen Pi 3 grams, Bai Fu Ling 2.4 grams, Huang Bai (honey-fried) 3 grams, Zhi Mu 3 grams, Bei Mu (heart removed) 3 grams, Zi Wan 2.4 grams, Wu Wei Zi 1.8 grams, Kuan Dong Hua 2.4 grams, Mai Men Dong 3 grams, Di Gu Pi 3 grams, Huang Lian (stir-fried) 1.5 grams, Yuan Zhi (soaked in licorice decoction) 2.4 grams, Suan Zao Ren (stir-fried) 1.8 grams, Gan Cao 1.2 grams 【Usage】Chop into small pieces. Add one slice of ginger and 15 milliliters of bamboo juice, then decoct and take. 【Function】Clear lungs, nourish Yin. 【Indications】Excessive indulgence in alcohol and sex, depletion of true Yin, virtual fire scorching the lungs, coughing, sore throat, ulcers and swelling in the throat. 【Additions】If palpitations and insomnia at night, add Ren Shen 2.4 grams; if restlessness and agitation, add Zhi Shi 1.8 grams, Zhu Ru 1.8 grams; if abundant phlegm and sputum, add Gua Lou Ren 1.8 grams, Tian Hua Fen 3 grams. For sores in the throat, apply Tong Ai San as a spray. |
