【Composition】He Shou Wu (sweet melon seed type, steamed and sun-dried nine times each) 120 grams, Ginseng (without root) 60 grams, Fresh Rehmannia 60 grams (washed with wine), Prepared Rehmannia 60 grams (washed with wine), Ophiopogon 60 grams (without heart), Asparagus 60 grams (without skin and heart), Fennel 60 grams (roasted yellow, use in autumn/winter), White Poria (without skin) 60 grams (use in spring/summer)
【Usage】Grind into fine powder, mix with honey to form pills as large as a tangerine. Take one pill per dose, chew thoroughly, and swallow with good wine or salt water on an empty stomach.
【Function】Tonify heart and kidney, preserve youthful appearance, darken hair.
【Indication】Deficiency of yin in heart and kidney with blood deficiency, palpitations, insomnia, lower back pain, tinnitus, weakness with low-grade fever, dry mouth and throat, premature graying of hair.
【Contraindication】When preparing medicine, avoid iron utensils. During medication, avoid "three whites" (i.e., scallions, garlic, radish), and abstain from sexual activity. |
