Honey-Saffron Decoction 【Source】Volume 10 of Waifang Mi Yao. 【Composition】Almonds 420 grams, white honey 200 milliliters, ox butter 400 milliliters 【Usage】First crush almonds in porcelain bowl, extract juice (1 liter), place in clean container, slowly boil until reduced to 600 milliliters. Add white honey and butter, continue boiling until volume reaches 600 milliliters. Store in ceramic jar. Take 10–15 milliliters warmed with wine, three times daily. For those who cannot drink alcohol, can mix with porridge.
