Kan Li Wan 1 【Source】"She Sheng Zhong Miao Fang" Vol. 2. 【Alternate Names】Hou Kan Li Wan ("Medical Entry" Vol. 7). 【Composition】Dang Gui (fully soaked in good wine for three days, sun-dried, crushed) 120g Bai Shao Yao (washed with warm water, crushed, soaked in good wine for one day, sun-dried, stir-fried until reddish) 120g Chuan Xiong (large ones only, small ones discarded, washed clean, crushed) 120g Hou Huang Bai (bark removed) 240g (60g soaked in wine, 60g soaked in salt water, 60g soaked in human milk, 60g soaked in honey, all dried and stir-fried until reddish) Zhi Mu 240g (hairs removed, four methods processed, same as Huang Bai) Shu Di Huang 240g (best from Huaiqing region; 120g paired with Sand Ren, 120g paired with Bai Fu Ling, both placed in silk bag, boiled with 400ml good wine until dry; remove Sand Ren and Fu Ling, keep only Di Huang) 【Usage】Grind six ingredients into powder, mix well, spread into sheets 0.9–1.2 cm thick, expose to night dew and daytime sun for three days and nights. Use 740g pure winter honey mixed with 120g water, boil until droplets form pearls. Add 250ml water, boil again, mix with previous powder, form into tangerine-sized pills.
