Red Oil Ointment

【Composition】Red mercury 250 grams, cottonseed oil 2.5 liters, yellow wax 250–500 grams
【Usage】First crush red mercury into fine particles, mix with cottonseed oil in a large copper pot, heat over fire until red mercury turns pale yellow, remove from heat and cool, filter out residue; then reheat and add yellow wax (250 grams in winter, 500 grams in summer), melt completely, remove from heat and stir until cooled into ointment. Apply thinly on affected area. Before full use, test on a small patch first to check for allergic reactions; discontinue if any occurs.
【Function】Moisturizes skin, relieves itching.
【Indications】Palmoplantar psoriasis, psoriasis, chapped hands and feet, foot dampness.
【Contraindications】Do not use for extensive psoriasis. |
