【Source】From "San Yin Ji Yi Bing Zheng Fang Lun".
【Composition】Sulfur 60 grams (crushed to size of soap pod, wait for lead to melt, add sulfur inside, do not let it flame, wait until sulfur melts, pour onto nine layers of paper, place in a pit, cover with bowl to extinguish fire), Quisqualis indica, Lead (free of tin, first melted into liquid), each 60 grams; Epimedium (calcined), Sandalwood, Agarwood, Green Tangerine Peel (stir-fried), each 15 grams; Nutmeg 30 grams; Fennel (stir-fried), Cinnamon (bark removed, no fire exposure), Aconite (roasted, skin and umbilicus removed), Tribulus terrestris (stir-fried), Psoralea corylifolia (stir-fried), each 30 grams; Wu Yao (wood removed, chopped), 7.5 grams.
【Usage】Grind into fine powder, make pills with wine paste, size of tamarind seed. Take 30–100 pills empty stomach, swallow with strong decoction of ginseng, poria, ginger, and jujube.
【Indications】Failure of yin and yang to ascend and descend, heat above and cold below, dizziness, severe illness; or worsening symptoms after taking warming medicines. |
