【Alternative Names】Ginseng and Atractylodes Fatty Child Pill (from "Complete Collection of Pediatric Diagnosis and Treatment").
【Composition】12 grams of Ginseng, 9 grams each of Atractylodes (without root), Poria, 12 grams of Ginger-fried Coptis, 15 grams of Picrorhiza, 12 grams of Areca Nut (shell removed), 12 grams each of Fried Yeast, Fried Malt, Hawthorn Fruit, 6 grams of Honey-fried Licorice, 12 grams of Aloe (sealed in bowl with clay, buried in pit, thoroughly cooked)
【Usage】Grind into powder, make into pills with glutinous rice paste, size of millet grain. Take 20–30 pills at a time, dissolved in rice gruel.
【Functions】Tonify qi, strengthen spleen, eliminate child malnutrition and food stagnation.
【Indications】Pediatric malnutrition and food accumulation. |
