Burn Alcohol

[Formula] ① Coarse powder of sour jujube bark 300 grams, appropriate amount of 80% ethanol; ② Powder of elm bark 500 grams, powder of Phellodendron amurense 200 grams, appropriate amount of 80% ethanol; ① Powder of sour jujube 4 parts, powder of root of sanguisorba 3 parts, powder of saposhnikovia 3 parts, powder of licorice 1 part. [Preparation Method] Method 1: Place the above herbs in a container, add 1000 ml of 80% ethanol, stir well, seal, soak for 48 hours, then filter, store the filtrate sealed; residue is added with 500 ml of 80% ethanol, seal, soak for 24 hours, filter again, squeeze out as much liquid as possible from the residue, combine both filtrates to make 1000 ml, then fill into containers. Method 2: Place the herb powders in a container, add appropriate amount of 80% ethanol, stir, seal, soak for 48 hours, filter, store filtrate tightly sealed; residue is added with 80% ethanol, seal, soak for 24 hours, filter, squeeze out as much liquid as possible from the residue, combine both filtrates to make 1000 ml, then fill into containers. Method 3: Grind all ingredients into extremely fine powder, pass through an 110-mesh sieve, mix thoroughly, fill into small bottles, sterilize under high pressure. [Function] Astringent, anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving. [Indications] ① Burns and scalds; ② Infected burn wounds; ③ Burns. [Usage] External use only. First apply 1% furacillin wet dressing to the wound, wait until dry and cool before applying medicine. For burns, first sprinkle the powder, then spray solution ① on non-infected wounds, spray solution ② on infected wounds. Spray 2–3 times daily.
